Petro von Wielligh is a very experienced orchestral
and chamber music flautist.
She was co-principal flute and piccolo of the Natal Philharmonic
Orchestra in Durban, South Africa before moving to the UK
in 1994.
Since then she has done freelance playing with several orchestras
including City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Bath Philharmonia,
Opera Project and many more.
Petro works regularly as a chamber flautist organising
concerts raising money for charities at venues such as Farnham Castle,
Loseley Park and Riverhouse in Walton.
The
CD, Different Moods was launched to critical acclaim and is regularly broadcast
on Classic FM, SA.
